Pastor Amos oversees the staff and drives the overall ministry vision of the church. He is a former public high school teacher who holds a bachelor’s degree from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas,  a Master’s of Divinity degree with Biblical languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas and a Doctorate of Ministry degree in theology and biblical counseling from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Pastor Amos has adjunctively taught Christian ministry courses at Huntington University , and served two years as interim Director of Missions for the Northeast Indiana Baptist Association. His concern for missions has led him to serve on the Executive Board of the State Convention of Baptists in Indiana as well as lead several mission trips to Eastern Europe. His passions are God, his family, teaching God’s word, counseling, and sharing God’s love with others. Pastor Amos and his wife Emily have four children – Eli, Adam, Isaac, and Anna.

Linda has been a member of Huntington Baptist Church for over twenty years and joined our staff in June 2007. Linda handles the overall accounting/business needs of the church and serves as administrative assistant to the staff. Linda has three adult children and eight grandchildren.

Joe is a gifted educator who brings a wealth of energy and experience to our youth ministry here at HBC. Joe holds a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and is a current Chemistry teacher at Huntington North High School.  Joe loves the Lord Jesus, His Church and student ministry.  Joe’s passion is to see students become committed disciples of Jesus Christ.  Joe and his wife Kris have one daughter – Lorraine and reside in Huntington.
