Senior Pastor
Pastor Amos oversees the staff and drives the overall ministry vision of the church. He is a former public high school teacher who holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX, a Master’s of Divinity Degree with Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX, and a Doctorate of Ministry Degree in Theology and Biblical Counseling from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. Pastor Amos has adjunctively taught Christian ministry courses at Huntington University, and served two years as interim Director of Missions for the Northeast Indiana Baptist Association. His concern for missions has led him to serve on the Executive Board of the State Convention of Baptists in Indiana as well as lead several mission trips to Eastern Europe. His passions are God, his family, teaching God’s word, counseling, and sharing God’s love with others. Pastor Amos and his wife Emily have four adult children: Eli (Emma), Adam, Isaac, and Anna.
