Pastor Amos Albright
Senior Pastor
Pastor Amos oversees the staff and drives the overall ministry vision of the church. He is a former public high school teacher who holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX, a Master’s of Divinity Degree with Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX, and a Doctorate of Ministry Degree in Theology and Biblical Counseling from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. Pastor Amos has adjunctively taught Christian ministry courses at Huntington University, and served two years as interim Director of Missions for the Northeast Indiana Baptist Association. His concern for missions has led him to serve on the Executive Board of the State Convention of Baptists in Indiana as well as lead several mission trips to Eastern Europe. His passions are God, his family, teaching God’s word, counseling, and sharing God’s love with others. Pastor Amos and his wife Emily have four adult children: Eli (Emma), Adam, Isaac, and Anna.
Pastor Sam Mock
Student and Family Ministries
Pastor Sam enjoys ministering to students and their families as a whole. He says, “My own growth during my time in seminary has matured me to be a much better Christian, husband, and father than I ever was before, and I enjoy passing on what I have learned. I seek to center everything I do in ministry (teaching, discipleship, counseling) upon Christ as He is revealed in Scripture.” Sam and his wife, Lydia, have five young children: Sadie, Albert, Asher, Sophia, and Oliver.
Collin Hobbs
Worship
Collin is Professor of Biology at Huntington University. He and his wife, Kara, have called Huntington home for over seven years. Collin is a gifted administrator and helps organize and lead our worship and music teams here at HBC. Collin loves the Lord and enjoys serving at Huntington Baptist church in various areas. Collin and Kara have five children: Annie, Laurel, Jenny, Eliza, and Calvin.
Linda Ivey
Church Secretary
Linda has been a member of Huntington Baptist Church for over thirty years and joined our staff in June 2007. Linda handles the overall accounting/business needs of the church and serves as administrative assistant to the staff. Linda has three adult children and eight grandchildren.
